The foundation realised the integral unlocking of the Khardzhiev archive in cooperation with the Russian state archive RGALI in Moscow. After intensive consultation with representatives of the archive and the Russian government, cooperation agreements were reached in 2006 and 2011, providing for the archive to be reproduced on microfilm and made available for consultation in Amsterdam as well as at the RGALI itself. The collection can be viewed by appointment at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and at the Special Collections library of the University of Amsterdam. The foundation does not currently maintain links with the RGALI archive.
